[vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeInLeft”]Marija Stefic-Cubic is the Clinical Nurse Specialist for Surgery at Providence Health Care.
Through her long nursing career, she practiced nursing in many different areas such as Leukemia and Bone Marrow transplant, Critical Care, Emergency, Geriatrics and Surgery. She held many different roles, including the frontline nursing, nurse consultant, nurse educator, and now Clinical Nurse Specialist.
She completed her undergrad study at the University of British Columbia, Critical Care Nursing at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and her Masters of Nursing at the Athabasca University.
She is passionate about quality improvement project and completed the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council’s Quality Academy in 2018. Since then she lead many surgical quality improvement projects and presented the outcomes at the National and International conferences.[/vc_column_text]
