He completed his fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Calgary, being one of the first physicians certified in Pain Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in western Canada. He has an interest in neuromodulation and medical education, serving as former Chief Technology Officer of the North American Neuromodulation Society Resident and Fellow Section. Dr. Varshney is the physician lead for the Pacific Pain Forum Planning Committee.[/vc_column_text]
